About Me

I am James, a middle-aged, mid-westerner, born and raised in Wisconsin with having done a stint of living for over 10 years in Illinois. I am also an aspiring seminary student, seller of tea by day and novice blogger for purposes of expanding my spiritual horizon in Christ and for reaching out too. In writing this blog, I’m hoping you will leave comments on my posts. This is especially true of those whom already hold seminary degrees. I’ll value your input.

I enjoy family time, church activities and prayer. I have gained through Christ freedom from sin and practice the spiritual disciplines of confession and repentance in my saved status as a Christian. I’m born again.

The focus of this blog, though containing Old Testament verses is designed to focus on Jesus for the purpose of glorifying Him and making Him more renown. 1 Peter 2:9 in the Bible says, “9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

And Psalm 11:1 says, “Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.”

Also 2 Samuel 7:22 says, “How great You are, O Lord GOD! For there is none like You, and there is no God but You, according to everything we have heard with our own ears.”
